I'm current in Zambia on my way to a conference at Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. Seeing the photos from the "No Kings" events on Oct 18 was a highlight of the day. I've shared them with Zambian friends over tea because they have many questions about what is happening in the US. It makes sense to them. I wish I had an explanation!
Three of us old feeble neighbors here in Maryland promised our families that we wouldn't go to any big rally, but we "marched" at noon from our condo units to the communal mailboxes with our walkers & cane, but without our signs--because we couldn't figure out how to keep the brisk breeze from blowing us over when the wind caught our signs. Ditto without taking a pic with our phones. We dream of Eugene-level costumes next time.
