SPRING HAS SPRUNG
Ever wonder how this beauty came to be?
A photo meditation on my balcony garden
will unravel that for you.
TAKE THREE DEEP BREATHS AND BEGIN
In the photo below:
See the red aura on distant trees?
... the not-yet-open bud at the tip of a branch
of a baby Maple tree on my deck?
... two mating ducks in lower left corner?
... two mating ducks in lower left corner?
See the red stem and green buds on the baby Maple tree?
That red stem ending (new growth) creates the red aura in previous photo.
That red stem ending (new growth) creates the red aura in previous photo.
Maple buds are growing!
A green aura will soon emerge.
Watch me now!
Three stages of Maple leaf growth.
Look at me now!
Tulip buds under a baby Maple tree.
Tulip bulb gathers energy as duck below forages for food.
Tulip ready to open ...
baby Maple leaves say Hi.
See the growth buds
on this four-year-old baby Pine tree?
with its partner Maple tree.
CLOSE YOUR EYES.
REFLECT ON THE MIRACLE YOU HAVE WITNESSED.

Nature is amazing we just need to look and appreciate it! thanks for sharing!
what a lovely gift..I have been drawing the plants in my garden, not even ignoring the weeds and enjoying the warmth of the sun, slowly melting my bones... such strange, unhappy times however this makes me happy and I sincerely thank you for the gift.. your fellow classmate, sandra
I too have been out in my garden more, dirt in my fingers, sun not yet too hot, the rhythmic movements of prepping & sowing an antidote to the surrounding madness, greed, stupidity and errant thinking so rampant in the world. All of life wants to celebrate when given the chance, each birth, each parting. Each unnecessary death and unhonored soul diminishes what could be, diminishes creation, cuts short the gifts each soul may bring. So I plant seeds with bated breath, hoping I water and pay attention just enough, hoping for greenness and fullness, and yes homegrown food to nourish and ground me.
